Privacy Policy

The site does not require membership, does not make you open an account, and does not know who you are unless you write something.

• What you write in the Let's talk form: name, email or phone, topic, plan and message.
• The date and time you sent the form and the language the site was open in at that moment.
• The IP address and browser information recorded in the server logs when you open the site.

When the form is sent, your information arrives in the studio's mailbox as an email. If you left an email address, an automatic email is also sent to you to let you know your request has been received. The message you wrote is not included in this automatic email.

No cookies are used on the site for advertising purposes. Records fall into two groups: those needed for the site to work, and measurement cookies that run only with your consent. What each cookie does and how long it stays is listed one by one in the Cookie Policy →.

If you do not consent, the measurement tools are never loaded onto the page and the site works just the same. You can change your preference at any time from the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the page.

Measurement has two layers. The first runs for everyone and does not identify you; the second comes into play only if you consent.

Measurement that does not require consent: Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These tools do not use cookies, do not identify you and do not track you across sites. Only aggregate numbers are kept: which page was opened, which site the visitor came from, country, device and browser type, and how fast the page loaded.

Error monitoring: if an error occurs on the site, Sentry records the page where it occurred, the browser and device type, and the technical detail of the error so that the problem can be fixed. It does not use cookies, does not record your IP address and does not record your screen.

Measurement that runs with your consent:

• Google Analytics: measures which pages are visited, how long the visit lasted, where the visitor came to the site from, and which buttons were pressed (for example, opening the Let's talk form). Your IP address is not recorded.
• Microsoft Clarity: creates heatmaps showing where on the pages people click and how far they scroll, along with an anonymous recording of the visit. What you type into form fields is masked in these recordings and cannot be read.
• Google Tag Manager: the intermediary that loads the two tools above onto the page; it does not set cookies or collect data itself.

This data is used only to improve the site, is not used for advertising, and is not combined with other data in an attempt to identify you.

The site does not run on its own; it relies on the services below. Each one sees only the information needed for its own job.

• Vercel: hosting the site and visit measurement.
• Sentry: recording errors that occur on the site.
• Resend: sending the form notification and the confirmation email.
• Google Workspace: the studio's mailbox.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: visit measurement, only if you consent.
• WhatsApp: only if you choose to write via WhatsApp.

The fonts and images on the site come from the site's own server; when you open a page, no request is sent to another company. Links on the project pages take you to other sites; those sites' own privacy terms apply.

The site runs entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The form is protected against automated submissions, and repeated submissions from the same address are limited. Only the person who runs the studio has access to your request.

No method gives complete assurance. If a security issue affects your information, you and, if required, the Personal Data Protection Board are notified.

If your request does not turn into a job, it is deleted within 1 year at the latest after the last correspondence. If it does, correspondence is kept for the duration of the job, and invoice and contract records for the legal period.

Measurement data collected with your consent is kept for a maximum of 14 months in Google Analytics and a maximum of 9 months in Microsoft Clarity. The details are in the KVKK Privacy Notice →.

You can find out what information is held about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. To do so, it is enough to write to berkay@berkayaskin.studio; a reply is given within 30 days at the latest. The full list of your rights is in the KVKK Privacy Notice →.

If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its United Kingdom counterpart also apply to your personal data. This section adds the information those rules require to what is explained above.

Your data is processed on the following legal bases:

• Replying to your request and preparing a quote: steps taken at your request before a contract is entered into.
• Site security, protection of the form, error monitoring and measuring visits without identifying individuals: legitimate interest. The interest here is that the site runs securely and without errors, and that it is known which pages are useful.
• Measurement and heatmap cookies: only your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time from the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the page; withdrawing it does not make the processing carried out up to that point unlawful.
• If a business relationship is established, invoice and contract records: legal obligation.

Filling in the form is not mandatory; however, without your name and a contact detail your request cannot be answered.

The studio is established in Türkiye. Your data is processed in Türkiye and on the servers, in the USA and in the EU, of the companies listed in the Service providers section. The European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for Türkiye. The data processing agreements of the providers in the USA include the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

In addition to the rights listed in the KVKK Privacy Notice →, you also have the right:

• To receive a copy of the data held about you.
• To have the processing of your data restricted.
• To object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• To receive the data you provided yourself in a commonly used, machine-readable format.

The application address is the same; a reply is given within one month at the latest and free of charge. On this site no decisions are made about you solely by automated systems, and no profiling takes place.

If you think your data is being processed in breach of the rules, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the country you live in. In the United Kingdom this authority is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

If the way the site collects information changes, this page is updated and the date at the top of the page is renewed. When there is a significant change, people who previously left contact details are informed separately.
