REQUEST

Seeing where a project stood meant moving between folders, notes and past records. The aim was to read this information in the same workspace.

SOLUTION

A cockpit fed by project files, a portfolio, project detail, journal and task screens were brought together. The context needed for daily decisions was moved into a single tool.

RESULT

The studio's local working tool; not open to public use. The screens were prepared with isolated sample project data so that no client information is shared.

Inside the design

The decisions that shape the experience, and the screens that show them.

The day's status at a glance

The cockpit gathers the projects' outstanding work and the day's note in the same place. Different folders don't need to be opened to recall the latest status.

The whole portfolio on the same desk

Projects are listed with their types and current status. Each record leads to the details of the related project.

Picking up where it left off

The project detail shows the current stage and open tasks together. When returning to the work, the necessary context can be rebuilt.

The trace left in the journal

Completed steps and next tasks are kept in date order. A project's history turns into readable records instead of conversations that have to be remembered.

Task screen

The task definition and its working context are prepared on a single screen. This presentation shows the current task interface; the quote calculation feature is not in scope.

INTERNAL TOOL — not public; the studio's own operations panel.
